I want to close out this year with a bang. Up until this point I have added a handful of credit cards to my wallet. but I am looking to add a couple more by the end of this year.
Earlier in 2023 I managed to pickup the Chase Ink Business Cash card and its all time high 90,000 point sign up bonus. That card was a must have simply because of the SUB. I mean it does have some decent reward multipliers but not much else to it.
I also picked up the Amex Marriott Business card which is simply feeding my Marriott Titanium addiction. With that card I get a free night award at Marriotts with a redemption level of 35,000 points or less. Unfortunately I will not be able to use that reward until my first anniversary. Until then I am paying $125 just for the 15 Elite Night Credits.
After the Marriott card I got approved for another Amex Business credit card; the Amex Blue Business Plus. This is a easy to use card with a 2x reward multiplier on any purchase. Not much else to say about it.
I then continued my streak of Amex cards by getting the Amex Marriott Brilliant card. This credit card is loaded with benefits and credits that will, once again, feed my Marriott obsession. I will have 25 Elite Night Credits, 1 free night award at a Marriott with a redemption level of 85,000 points or less, Marriott Platinum status, and a $300 annual dining credit. Once again I will not be able to use the FNA until my first anniversary which will be next year. The Amex Brilliant is an expensive card coming in at $650 a year.
A not expensive credit card that I picked up was the Bilt card. This card is a must have if you rent! I love the reward multipliers and ability to transfer your points to a travel partner without having to pay an annual fee. The fact that this card has so much value in it all while being “free” makes it a no brainer for me.
As for the remainder of 2023 I have my eyes on cards like the Capital One Venture X, Savor One, Costco card, and World of Hyatt. TBH none of these I am absolutely set on getting however I am always looking for my next card addition.
